The Canadian Ski Patrol - Ski Swap is held in conjunction with the Toronto Ski, Snowboard and Travel Show will be at the Better Living Centre - Exhibition Place from October 14th to 17th, 2010.
The Swap Hours- Thurs Oct 14/10 3pm to 10pm
- Fri Oct 15/10 12pm to 10pm
- Sat Oct 16/10 10am to 9pm
- Sun Oct 17/10 10am to 6pm
We will be receiving equipment to be sold on Wednesday, Oct 13th from 6pm to 9pm at the southeast corner of the Better Living Centre.
If you cannot attend the pick-up dates at the location as outlined below, DO NOT ENTER YOUR EQUIPMENT.
We will also accept equipment on Thursday and Friday evenings between 6pm and 9pm, however show admission will be charged on these nights. Ski equipment to be accepted for sale must meet DIN standards and be in good condition. If the equipment is several years old we strongly suggest you bring it by on Wednesday and have it looked at by our staff. Generally, older "straight skis" and adult "rear entry boots" are no longer in demand, regardless of condition and will not be accepted. Only skis, boots and snowboards will be accepted. Please, no clothing, poles of loose Items (ie: bindings). The Ski Patrol reserves the right to refuse any equipment deemed unsuitable.
There is a $1.00 registration charge per item and a 20% selling commission on all sales. The selling price is set by the owner of the equipment and may not be changed once it is accepted.
Reclaiming of unsold equipment and/or cheques. If you cannot attend the pick-up dates at the location listed below, DO NOT ENTER YOUR EQUIPMENT. Reclaiming will be held Wednesday and Thursday October 20th and 21st at the Canadian Ski Patrol - Central Zone Office, located in the Hwy. 400 and Finch area. Equipment not reclaimed by 9:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21st becomes the property of the Canadian Ski Patrol System and will be donated to a charity. Cheques can be mailed out if your account is reconciled and all equipment is accounted for, however you must call for confirmation. This information and other details regarding the Ski Swap and its procedures will be available on an information sheet when you register your equipment.
Proceeds from the Ski Swap are used to further the efforts of the Canadian Ski Patrol in Safety Programs and assisting the skiing public.
